Ecclesia considers the student holistically based on academics, spiritual life, and character. However, academics hold the most weight when considering a student for acceptance. Below are the admissions requirements for different student categories.
Definition: Fewer than 30 transferable college credits earned after high school/GED.
Required Documents
- Official high school transcript with graduation date and 2.3+ cumulative GPA (public, private, homeschool; GED accepted)
- Written Statement of Salvation
- Spiritual Mentor Reference Form
- Institutional Agreement Form
- Admissions Interview
Standardized test scores (ACT/SAT/CLT) are not required for admission; they may be used for academic scholarships, placement, or NCCAA eligibility. Applicants without scores may complete placement testing.
Definition: 30+ transferable college credits.

- Official transcripts from all colleges attended with a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA (transferable work)
- High school transcript with graduation date (may be waived with an associate degree or ≥60 transferable semester hours)

Note: Applicants with 24–29 transferable hours may be reviewed under transfer guidelines but retain freshman academic classification. Test scores are not required.

- Course-by-course evaluation: InCred (athletes) or SpanTran (all others)
- GPA equivalency: High school 2.3; college (if applicable) 2.0
- English proficiency (if required): TOEFL iBT 80 (no subscore below 20) • IELTS 6.5 • Duolingo 105+
- Financial Guarantee form and official bank statement (for I-20 issuance)
- Plus standard portal items (Faith Statement, Spiritual Reference, Institutional Agreement, Interview)
Test scores are not required for general admission; ACT/SAT/CLT may be submitted for academic scholarship consideration.

Must be in good standing at home institution and submit the Dual Enrollment Request with approvals from Ecclesia’s Academic Dean and the home institution’s department chair or academic advisor. Applicants are reviewed using freshman or transfer criteria based on prior work.

Priority Admission Deadlines
We review on a rolling basis, but to allow time for financial aid, registration, visas (if applicable), and housing, complete all required items by:
- Fall Semester: June 1
- Spring Semester: November 1
Late applications may still be reviewed; Ecclesia may defer admission to a later term if there isn’t sufficient time to complete essential steps. Concurrent enrollment applicants should submit at least four weeks before the term begins.
Official Transcript Submission
Request an official high school transcript with at least six semesters of coursework. Ecclesia prefers secure electronic delivery via National Student Clearinghouse (EDI), Parchment (including Naviance), SCOIR, or Triand. Transcripts should be sent school-to-school; they may also be emailed to admissions@ecollege.edu or mailed to:

Testing & Placement Policy
Standardized test scores (ACT/SAT/CLT) are not required for admission. Scores may be used for academic scholarships, course placement, or NCCAA eligibility. Applicants without scores may complete placement testing administered by Ecclesia.
